In this week’s episode I sit down with Bruce Dow. Bruce Dow is an actor, director, writer, and teacher. In our conversation today we discuss how he was introduced to the theatre as a child, the role structure and form play in theatre, as well as the importance of staying open to new ideas and perspectives. We also discuss some of his most positive experiences in the industry, the differences he has noticed between theatre in Canada and the United States, and the things that are happening in theatre in Canada that are exciting him. Bruce also shares some great advice for performers who are just coming out of school and speaks about how important it is to have hobbies and interests outside of theatre.
